Mr. Leary had already called ahead, so by the time I got to the principal’s office, they were expecting me.

Before I could explain myself, they sent me in to talk to the school psychologist. I guess that’s mandatory when students destroy property. I was encouraged to share my feelings, so I explained the infinite detention loop and the detention-instigation plan designed to break the loop.

Eventually, the psychologist grew frustrated that she was unable to “connect” with me.
